WHAT IS MADE IN OKLAHOMA?

MIO is a coallition of Oklahoma Food Manufacturers created to increase their sales and brand recognition. "In 2006, the MIO Coalition membership employed more than 15,000 and more than $500 million in payroll to employees. The coalition membership generated more than $2.5 billion in sales.." *

The Made in Oklahoma Program:

This program "works with Oklahoma agribusinesses at local, regional, and national levels to promote retial, institutional, and gourmet sales." **  To be a part of this program you must meet certain requirements including:

• The product is manufactures and/or produced in Oklahoma and is an agricultural or food product.
• The facilities must meet all State and Federal regulations where applicable.
• Products must meet or exceed USDA and/or State of Oklahoma Standards where applicable.
